Buhari assigns portfolios to Ministers, names self as Petroleum Minister [See List] sundayvicko.blogspot.com

President Muhammadu Buhari shocked some Nigerians on Wednesday afternoon when he finally assigned portfolios to the confirmed Ministers of the Federal Republic. This happened at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja during the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council, FEC. The President however announced himself as the substantive Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Below are some of the newly sworn-in Ministers and the portfolios they got:

1. Geoffrey Onyeama – Foreign affair
2. Adamu Adamu – Education
3. Kemi Adeosun – Finance
4. Okechukwu Enelama – Industry Trade and Investment
5. Chris Ngige – Labour and Employment
6. Muhammed Bello – FCT
7. Udoma Udo Udoma – Budget and National Planning
8. Ibe kachikwu – Minister of State for Petroleum Resources
9. Barr. Adebayo Shittu – Communication
10. Babatunde Fashola – Power, Works and Housing
11. Audu Ogbe – Agriculture and Rural development
12. Rotimi Amaechi – Transportation
13. Aisha Alhassan – Women Affairs
14. Usani Uguru – Niger-Delta
15. Lai Muhamed – Information
16. Kayode Fayemi – Solid Minerals
17. Ogbonnaya Onu – Science and Technology
18. Solomon Dalong – Youths and Sports
